Welcome to the website of Aucott & Thomas, an online bookstore which is run by Roger Thomas (all the time) and Jacquie Aucott (some of the time). On this site we list over 7,000 books from most categories - although when buying in stock we tend to favour books about subjects in which we are personally interested, such as the English countryside, archaeology, cookery, folk music and coarse fishing (Thomas); or gardening, horse riding and childrens books - especially 1950's and 60's pony stories (Aucott) or crime fiction (both of us).

We have a large reserve stock which we are gradually cataloguing. If you have any particular wants - either individual titles or categories - do please let us know and we will offer you first refusal.

There is usually someone here between 10 am and 5.30 pm (GMT) on weekdays but if no-one answers please leave a message on our answering machine and we'll call you back as soon as we can.
