All books are published in London, except where stated.

All books that have a dustjacket will have a transparent archival protective sleeve fitted at no extra cost before shipping.

The shipping prices given at the checkout are based on an average weight book. If the book you are ordering weighs a lot more than average we may ask for extra shipping. Heavy books will be described as such, and we will never charge more than the quoted amount without asking for your agreement first.

Post is sent out every day from Monday to Friday (and sometimes on Saturdays), and books ordered on weekdays before 4.30pm GMT are usually shipped the same day.

12 cloth backed coloured maps and one (N. Wales) on paper. All are in reasonably good condition - Shropshire has a tape repair at one edge. Areas covered are Vale of Trent, Fenland, North Wales, Merseyside, North Lancashire, Argyll, Sutherland, The Humber, Shropshire, Hereford, Sussex & Exmoor. Most are undated, but the 'England' series ones are priced at 3 shillings so probably pre war, whereas the 'Great Britain' ones are either 5 or 6 shillings so probably post war

All are only in fair condition, the cloth covers are frayed at the edges; 7 of them have a small window cut in the outer cover through which the owner's name can be seen on the lining, and internally there are some splits along joints. Areas covered are South Northumberland, Sheffield, Cheshire, Derby & Notts., Norfolk, Birmingham & Leicester, Cambridge & Huntingdon, Oxfordshire, Bedford & Hertford, Essex, Berks. & Wilts., Surrey & Cornwall. All are undated, but are priced at 2 shillings so certainly pre Second war, and possibly pre Great war

Set of three volumes, containing 37 pamphlets, rebound into contemporary hardcover bindings of pink cloth with gilt lettering, dulled at the spine, incorporating the original card covers. All 36 English and Welsh cathedrals are included and an introductory pamphlet. Pamphlets are not bound in any particular order, although the introduction does appear at the front of volume 1, but they have been carefully collated and all are present. There are some pencilled annotations, but generally very clean, and the bindings are tight. Uncommon thus
