Set of three volumes, all clean and tightly bound in blue cloth, bevelled boards, no inscriptions. Volume 5 has no dustjacket; the jacket for volume 6 is torn and chipped at the spine ends and corners and that for volume 7 is marked at the front panel and mildly chipped at the corners. Volume 5 is subtitled 'Hall books and papers', was published in 1965, has xviii + 582 pages, index. Volume 6 is subtitled 'the Chamberlain's accounts 1688 - 1835', was published in 1967, has xii + 582 pages, 2 foldout maps and an index. Volume 7 is subtitled 'Judicial and allied records 1689 - 1835', was published in 1974, has xl + 592 pages, includes a commentary on all 3 volumes by A. N. Newman, a foldout map and 2 indexes.
